Card - Christmas In July

Created for the Cheery Lynn Challenge where the theme is Christmas in July.  The background was created on glossy cardstock by stamping the Holly stamp with Versamark, then placing the cardstock facedown onto Distress ink that had been placed onto a craft sheet and spritzed with water.  Additional ink was sponged onto the card, then it was spritzed again with water before being stamped a different Holly Stamp in Distress Ink, and then with a snow effect texture stamp.

Cardstock - Southfield Ivory Linen; Bazzill Canvas Texture: Maraschino; Astralux Glossy White
Cheery Lynn Dies - Holly Flourish, Mini Pearl Coved Rectangle (for the sentiment label)
Ink - Distress Frayed Burlap; Versamark
Digital Collage Sheet - Etsy
Stamps - Tapestry (Holly); DieNamics (Sentiment), Stampin' Up (Snow Texture)
Flowers - Recollections

Card - Girl in Lilac & Aqua

Created for the Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge

I recently bought a Wacom Tablet and this is the first digital image I have drawn on it.  Not perfect, but I couldn't wait to print her out and make her into a card, and these are the results.  I'll probably make a few changes to her before using her again, but I like the fact that I can print out my sketches more than once, and at any size, so I can make anything from ATC's to large mixed media art canvases. It will also make me learn how to show Photoshop more proficiently too!
